A butyrometer is a precision graduated glass tube used in the classical Gerber method to determine the fat content of milk, cream, cheese, butter, yogurt, ice cream and other dairy products. Our butyrometers are manufactured from high-quality borosilicate glass with chemically etched, bright-red graduations for excellent readability and resistance to sulphuric acid and amyl alcohol reagents used in the Gerber process. Available in a complete range of scales and capacities — including 0–6%, 0–8%, 0–40% and cream butyrometers — these instruments are widely trusted across UAE dairies, milk-processing plants and food-testing laboratories for accurate, repeatable fat determination.
